To what age can I expect my pet to live?

It is impossible to predict the lifespan of any individual animal, but here are some average values:

Domestic cat- 12 years (many live into their late teens and some into their 20's)
Dogs- 10 years (varies greatly according to breed, small breeds tend to live longer than large)
Rabbit-10 years
Guinea pigs- 6 years
Hamsters- 2 years
Gerbil- 4 years
Rat- 3years
Mouse- 2 years
